1. Shonen-manga no you ni

Hiro thought that it would just naturally sort itself out. After all, here he was with Ando-kun on an adventure to save the world, just like Jojo and Trunks! And even if it wasn't completely textual, Hiro felt there was plenty of supporting evidence to show that over the course of their adventure, Trunks and Gohan just fell in love with each other. Or Trunks and Goten, if it was regular Trunks instead of future Trunks. But that was how it went in shonen manga--romance was never the focus, and that was okay, but somewhere along the road to becoming heroes, people just fell in love. Like Ichigo and Orihime! (Hiro hoped that Kubotite would validate his OTP soon.)

But the problem with this, Hiro realized, was that if he realized that he and Ando-kun were meant to be but Ando-kun hadn't realized it yet and kept hitting on the women they met, then it was very difficult for Hiro. At least Hiro could take comfort in the fact that Ando-kun liked superpowered girls. Hiro could be superpowered, at least, and half-credit wasn't that bad.

Although he had been hoping for at least 70%. But he could still level.


2. Toki-meki no you ni

"Ah, Hiro! Mr. Mohinder called. He says that Peter Petrelli is looking for you."

>"I don't want to talk to them. I want to talk to you."
>"Have you ever thought about trying out a sailor uniform? Ando-kun has very nice legs."
>Put it in.

"Well," muttered Hiro. "That really isn't going to work."

"Huh?"

"Ando-kun, do you have a sailor uniform?"

"Hiro, did you hit your head?"

"Yeah, definitely no good."


3. Shojo-manga no you ni

Finding the flower petals had been hard, but Mr. Mohinder wanted them to look into Mr. Linderman's connections in Washington D.C., so Hiro had managed to wait until then.

Of course, convincing Ando-kun to go see the cherry blossoms was hard, and Hiro wished he hadn't had to rely on saying that there could be girls there, but after all he had to do whatever it took. Love, as Pat Benetar said, was a battlefield.

"Man, it is like Tokyo!" said Ando-kun.

The flowers were blowing dramatically.

"Ando-kun...I...about you..."

"Hiro?"

Hiro was trying to get just the right timing for his revelation, like Li Syaoran used in Card Captor Sakura, but Li Syaoran had never had cherry blossoms blow into his mouth. Or if he had, he hadn't started choking on them.

Or if he had, it was in out-takes.

On the bright side, Hiro had to admit, Ando-kun did seem very concerned about him.


4. Supaidaa-man no you ni

"Ando-kun! I am gay! For you!"

"Hiro, remember what we talked about? You aren't allowed to read 4chan. It's a bad influence."

"That wasn't from 4chan."

"Did they link it?"

"..."


5. Hiro no you ni

"Ando-kun, I've finally figured it out."

"Huh?"

"The future me. What happened."

"He told us, didn't he? And we fixed it. New York didn't blow up."

"No, why he was like that. You wouldn't tell me but I guessed."

"Hiro..."

"It's because of you, isn't it? Because Ando-kun wasn't there...I wanted to change everything."

"But I'm here now! It's all right!"

"But Ando-kun is still my most important person. The one I would change anything for."

"I know. Me too."

It wasn't exactly right, but it was getting closer. With just a little more leveling, things would be perfect.
